Cool Blogs You Might Have Missed in August

Warm greetings to everyone. The holidays dedicated to the beginning of the fight against the granite of science have died down. Everyone was finally able to get out of the time loop and turn the calendar over to September 4th. Which means it’s time to share a new selection of cool blogs that are definitely worth checking out. We are in the face Dmitry Epikhin, Bergel, Gumboool, Cheezzy fioletovaya boroda, having secured support Guzak, GWINTER And JustMK, We are in a hurry to share some cool publications, exclusively for our taste, published in August. As always, we note that we will specifically keep silent about articles awarded with purple cups, because they can be found in the corresponding section.

In addition to cool blogs, according to the good old tradition, we will share sparkling comments over the past month, demonstrate the hottest, most captivating positivity, and also take a look at which articles were fiercely upvoted and discussed by the respected StopGame public. But that’s not all. The creative team decided to look at the latest reviews and choose those that particularly appealed to them. In general, this is a selection of cool blogs for August.

However, before we begin… Here are our old men, led by Nikolai Merkuriev lit a new one smoking room, where you can discuss almost everything. Even anime, even KVN, even the buoyancy of uranium scrap in mercury. The StopGame editors, by the way, also noted in the comments. In particular, dear Ivan Loev, who, apparently, decided to immediately jump into the conversation with both feet and posted… However, you can do it yourself get acquainted with his first message in the smoking room, or watch a short informative video about it below.

Impressions from GAMEDEV MEAT UP 2024

And in the case of StopGame blogs, it is especially lacking. Therefore, I cannot help but note LootHunter blog. This is not the author’s first work dedicated to video game events, which he tries to attend in person. While this isn’t a huge essay that meticulously examines our favorite games, this is the kind of content that I personally miss.

Around-the-game IRL movement remains a niche topic for a narrow circle of people. And it would be cool if more people attended such events. But in order for people to know about them, someone needs to talk about them. This is what LootHunter does.

I highly recommend going to his blog and reading about how poor the last GAMEDEV MEAT UP 2024 event was. You might also want to attend similar events (after all, they take place more often than you think).

Snusmumrik: The Melody of Moominvalley – plunging into the atmosphere of a fairy tale

Despite the fact that the Moomins were invented in cold Finland, every time they appear, be it on the pages of books, TV screens or, in this case, in a video game, it gives me a fit of cozy reflection. These white lumps and their closest friends are completely disinfecting.

Snusmumrik: The Melody of Moominvalley, probably the best game work based on Tove Jansson’s comics. AND BalrogKolyan with all my love for this fantastic world describes all the subtleties and nuances of the game.

The main mistake that may occur when getting acquainted with this universe is that you may think that it is for children. The game also suffers from this. But the author of the blog explains why there is no need to focus on this, and shows how captivating the game is. (Although for me it’s enough to look at the screenshots).

BalrogKolyan has been talking about great games for a while now. I wish more blog readers would notice this. And I wish the author to further improve his work. Gone to download the game on Switch.

What is Warhammer through the eyes of a fatalist. Not only brutalism and eternal dominance, but something else

Funny coincidence. It’s very difficult to understand Vahu at a glance. It is advisable to read several books, watch videos or at least play a few games. Then you will form some kind of idea about the universe. The same picture with blog Nuhm. You can immerse yourself in this massive read, but before doing so, it is advisable to familiarize yourself with more than ten blogs dedicated to Warhammer 40.000.

But even without this, you can look at the known universe through the prism of harsh reality. After a dozen books, the same number of games and tons of other thematic content, the author managed to show me the usual picture from a new side. For that, I thank him.

Pro Rally 2001: review

Rallying is the most intense https://casinofunbet.co.uk/bonus/ and intense form of racing. And I will never get tired of singing odes to this type of competition on typewriters. Firstly, a rally is always a sprint. You will never cover the same section of the route twice. Secondly, there are no other riders (unless, of course, they crashed somewhere along the way). You never have to worry about crashing into another racer. It turns out that there is only a car, a track and two people behind the wheel. Driver and navigator. A race against time, where you won’t be able to look at the landscapes around with a sophisticated look, even despite the fact that the races take place in the most beautiful places in the world.

Legendary confrontations, legendary cars, legendary racers – all this is the culture of racing, which originated in 1907 and continues to delight car enthusiasts to this day. And how nice it was to look at these screenshots on the blog, blurry, pixelated, but in which you can feel the spirit of that very desert, through which you have to fly at a speed of 200 kilometers per hour. Through those same forests, dodging the next tree in New Zealand, up to your ears in mud. As a fan, I was pleased to see how the author tells about one of the games that gave rise to serious rally simulators. It was nice to plunge into this pixelated 3D era. Thank him very much.

You MUST flash your Wii!

Lerkozavrik once again produced a based, rich blog. And once again I was pleased to see how a man with fear in his eyes first flashed the console, and then shared his interesting findings in a wonderful text.

Well, really, who knew that the reason to flash an old console is to find out what the weather is like somewhere in the Seychelles? And set the alarm clock? Or maybe even turn the console into a PlayStation 1? The blog was devoured by me with an incredible (appetite) interesting. And if you missed it, then run to catch up!

The Simpsons are America’s most famous family

Once again dear author included in our selection. And it’s not surprising. Blog dedicated, indeed, to the most world-famous family in America, albeit a fictional one.

A tremendous amount of work has been done on the text. The author managed to cover literally everything – from the idea to the first pilots. From tricks and humor to the form in which the little yellow men appeared before us on the video game field. Truly a titanic work that you won’t be ashamed to refer to if something slips out of your head.

Jeanne D’arc. A PSP exclusive that everyone seems to have forgotten about.

Eh… PSP… It was a long time ago. I’m still amazed at what interesting and experimental projects there were on this platform

The game about Joan of Arc has nothing to do with the real story, but this does not mean that the game is terrible, probably. I didn’t have time to play it at the time, especially considering its genre. Little me didn’t care about strategies (Ironic). So now I’m catching up.

The game about Zhanna is an unpretentious turn-based tactical JRPG. And that’s great! There is some kind of charming prostate in this genre in conjunction with the story, characters, visuals and music.

Be sure to check out blog, and then install PSP emulator and play a good game.

Titans of reviews. Episode 1. "What were they thinking? ?! "

Who’s so crazy that he wrote a blog on StopGame?.RU about me!? What were they thinking?!?

AVGN maybe

It was very pleasant to plunge into the brief history of AVGN. Albeit a little, but I learned something new about the real personality of the evil nerd himself. This blog gave me a good boost of nostalgia, sending me back to the not-so-distant times when I was still a first-year student, and I myself began to gradually be taken aback by some of the “ingenious” solutions in video games.

But ANGN− is still an icon for a whole generation of players who forever remembered that the second Castlevania – sucks, LJN is the worst video game company in history, and R.O.B. from capital N – evil in the flesh.

History of CD Projekt Red. How sellers of pirated discs became kings of the gaming industry?

I’m not a CDPR fan. I only completed The Witchers first, but that doesn’t mean the games or the company are bad. I just haven’t gotten around to it all yet to make a final verdict for myself.

On the other hand, I admire the Poles. To make a game based on pure enthusiasm based on what was not the most popular series of books at that time… You need to have willpower. Yes, not just to do it, but to do it well, and then grow into a huge company making AAA games.

This blog albeit not in detail, it still tells interesting moments from the life of the Poles Projekt Red, which at one point became incredibly popular.

I would like to see a more detailed version from author. Come on, I believe in you!

Wrong Sequel: Heroes 4

Probably, each of us in our youth found ourselves in an unpleasant situation when one of the adults set the son (or daughter) of his mother’s friend as an example. Like, look at him. He does his homework, plays sports, helps around the house, and assembles a hadron collider on his knee. In general, it’s gold, not what are you talking about, mediocrity. So here it is.

Heroes of Might and Magic III, This is exactly what this mother’s friend’s daughter is among her series of games. The third part is dearly loved and adored by many gamers. And, in fact, deservedly so. However, there are players in the world who prefer its less popular virtual adventures. For example, we carefully keep in our hearts Heroes of Might and Magic V, and dear Sapies like Heroes of Might and Magic IV.

Why? Why is four so good?? Well, we strongly advise you to read blog author and then perhaps you will love it too Heroes of Might and Magic IV.

Ziti from The Sopranos

You know, this is not just a blog, but a real one, yoshkin-makaroshkin, cooking blog. Alexander Shumakov, who once made culinary recipes on the site, decided to shake off the old days and tell you how to cook Ziti from the series "The Sopranos". Literally, it turned out to be a delicious, gluttonous article. Reading is simply contraindicated for hungry people.

True, there is a small nuance. If, like us with a beard, in the culinary business you only know how to masterfully order pizza and cook dumplings, then perhaps the Ziti you prepare will be different from the one in the photo on the blog. Keep this in mind.

StopGame Archive – “Smoking Room”

Here I would like to make a small lyrical digression. Yes, blog respected omel_alez collected a huge huge number of advantages, many people got acquainted with it. And it’s beyond words how cool it is.

However, we simply cannot ignore this blog. After all, the author put together and uploaded to YouTube part of the live broadcasts of Maxim Kulakov and Konstantin Trostenyuk in 2011 under the name “Smoking Room”. And even if the broadcasts are not all, and let these recordings be on VK. It’s OK. The main thing is that the remaining, preserved grains of StopGame’s past continue to be transmitted, spread across the Internet, and do not fall into oblivion.

There are definitely a lot of strong, cool authors on StopGame blogs. Which, in principle, is what our selection demonstrates. However, in terms of creativity, creative thought, approach, users writing under publications, articles and news are not inferior to blog authors. So why not highlight a few of our favorite commenters?? Not to capture, so to speak, their messages for posterity.
