EOSINOPHILS
EOSINOPHILS are weak phagocytes and exhibit chemotaxis and are elevated during allergic reactions, parasitic infections on aerobic membranes and decreased during toxic reactions and infections. They are active in the later stages of inflammation and are capable of phagocytosis and ingest antigen-antibody complexes. They respond to allergic and parasitic infections and contain about 1/3 of the bodies histamine
